Dr. Charles Juster

Dr. Charles Juster is a seasoned HR leader, strategist, and executive coach with over 35 years of distinguished experience in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations. As the CEO and Co-founder of TheoPraxHR, he brings a powerful blend of strategic insight, operational excellence, and people-centric leadership to help organizations unlock sustainable growth through their human capital.

Over the course of his career with Coal India Limited and its subsidiaries, Dr. Juster has played a pivotal role in shaping HR vision and driving business-aligned people strategies. Known as an “HR Architect,” he has consistently designed and implemented robust systems, processes, and organizational frameworks that deliver measurable business outcomes and long-term competitive advantage.

His expertise extends beyond core HR functions into areas such as organizational transformation, corporate social responsibility, enterprise risk management, and corporate communication—making him a trusted advisor for complex and evolving business environments.

Dr. Juster holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the Swiss School of Business and Management, Geneva, Switzerland, and a postgraduate degree in management from Loyola College of Social Sciences, Trivandrum, India. His continuous pursuit of excellence is reflected in his advanced learning engagements with premier institutions including IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Rohtak, and XLRI. He is also an ICF-certified ACC coach, with specialized credentials in organizational coaching and emotional intelligence. He has acquired professional expertise on organisational coaching at Institute of Executive Coaching & Leadership, Australia and Emotional Intelligence at Daniel Goleman Emotional Intelligence Courses (DGEIC).

He has contributed to HR transformation initiatives in association with leading organizations such as KPMG, XLRI, People Matters, and Randstad India. A respected figure in the professional HR community, Dr. Juster has held key leadership roles, including Honorary General Secretary of the National Institute of Personnel Management (2016–2018), and currently serves as Co-Chair of ASSOCHAM Jharkhand.
